Here the forest animals are shy but will show themselves to observers attentive and respectful of their habitat. In our woods there is no shortage of deer, fallow deer , roe deer and porcupines . Majestic hawks dominate the blue of our skies and the most attentive observers will be rewarded with unexpected appearances.

Our forests are generous: Truffles, porcini mushrooms, prugnoli and even chestnuts, blackberries, figs and walnuts you can find along the forest paths of the Mugello.

You can walk along the Silk and Wool Road, you will be a few minutes' trekking from one of the oldest links in Italy, where they intersected and still exist the ancient roads that led to Kainua (Marzabotto) and Felsina (Bologna) in Soda.

You can discover picturesque castles in Barberino and let yourself be lulled by the waters of Lake Bilancino, practicing canoeing, Kaya, Kitesurfing and Windserf, or maybe follow the sailing lessons of the local nautical club. Golf enthusiasts can practice the noble sport in one of the most beautiful courses in Tuscany, the Poggio dei Medici. You can visit Florence, just 35 minutes from the historic center of the city symbol of the Renaissance, and only 50 minutes from the center of Bologna, the city of porticoes and towers. If you prefer, you can visit the medieval villages of Scarperia, Vicchio, Borgo S.Lorenzo, Prato, Artimino and Vaiano.
